Tustin Industrial Asset Trades in $22.2 Mil Transaction

A local private investor acquired a 55k sf industrial asset located in the Tustin Legacy District in a $22.25 mil sale/leaseback deal. The institutional-quality property, located at 2692 Dow Ave, west of Jamboree Rd and southwest of the I-5, was sold by Bob Istwan, CEO of Motive Energy, a nationally recognized leader in advanced energy and connectivity technologies.

The property is positioned in the heart of Orange County’s most sought after innovation corridor. The building features over $3 mil in modern improvements designed to support high performance operations, engineering, and technological development, including 25k sf of finely appointed headquarters office space and nearly 30k sf of warehouse space with five loading doors.

Peter Castletonwith Voit Real Estate Services represented the seller in the deal. Adam Hill, Mitch Zehner, and Michael Zehner with Voit’s’ Zehner Hill Industrial Group represented the buyer, Deercreek Yorba Linda LLC, in the transaction.
