An L.A.-based private investor bought Woodland Place, a fully occupied, 11k sf multi-tenant retail center located at 13616 N Highway 183 (Research Blvd) in Austin, TX. Built in 2016 and situated on 1.86 acres in the Northwest submarket, the property is occupied by three tenants: Austin Family Orthodontics, Austin Children’s Dentistry and Firehouse Animal Health Center.
Situated on N Highway 183, which sees 115,000 vehicles per day, the property is visible along Austin’s major corridor between North Central Austin and Cedar Park/Leander, two of Austin’s fastest-growing suburbs. Northwest Austin has grown to be among Austin’s major tech hubs. Anchored by the Domain and the Arboretum, firms such as Visa, Apple, and Amazon have deep roots in the corridor, driving long-term growth.
Cathy Nabours, Kyle Shaffer and Sam Nichols with SRS Capital Markets represented the seller, an Austin-based developer and owner. According to Nabours, Woodland Place attracted strong investor interest due to its combination of daily-needs tenancy, full occupancy, and outstanding visibility along one of Austin’s most heavily traveled corridors.
