Bella’s Market has opened in Utah City, a planned urban core / master-planned development in the city of Vineyard, UT, along the eastern shore of Utah Lake. We’re told that this is the first new grocery store in Vineyard for more than 100 years. Bella’s is locally owned and operated by Lee’s Marketplace in Utah City.
Design teams RDC and DyeLot Interiors collaborated on the 40k sf project, with RDC serving as the store’s architect, and DyeLot providing interior design and branding services. Bella’s Market is supported and managed by Logan-based Lee’s Marketplace through a partnership with Utah City, built by Woodbury Corp and Flagship Cos.
“The concept for Bella’s Market was to bring a grocery amenity to Utah City, one that will also serve the surrounding residential communities. The vision was to create a place where customers will have a touch of the luxury grocery experience, and where they can get the specialty products of smaller format luxury retail stores while also being able to do regular weekly shopping,” said Terry Todd, AIA, Principal of RDC.
