There have been two lease signings to mention at Lake Union Building, a 98k sf, LEED Gold-certified office building in Seattle’s South Lake Union area. The seven-story office building is located on the water at 1700 Westlake Avenue North.
In one of the deals, Terrell Marshall Law signed a lease for approximately 7k sf. Terrell Marshall is a public interest law firm focused on complex civil litigation, including class actions and collective actions. Connor McClain and Joe Conner of Colliers represented Terrell Marshall Law.
In the other transaction, Mariner signed a lease for approximately 3k sf. Mariner provides a wide breadth of wealth services, including tax and estate planning, institutional cash management, trust services, and personal insurance solutions and investments. Bailey Hallis and Jake Bos of JLL represented Mariner in this transaction.
The building is owned by The Swig Company, who was represented by Todd Battison and Jeff Huntington of Kidder Mathews in both transactions.
Every floor at The Lake Union Building provides stunning lake views, while a two-story parking garage and 61-slip marina offer convenience for commuters by water or land. The building features advanced View dynamic glass windows that automatically adjust to light, enhancing energy efficiency and tenant comfort.
The Lake Union building has only one suite remaining on the 5th floor consisting of 8.7k sf. The suite is divisible, and it offers a rare lake view opportunity that consists of a new creative move-in-ready suite with an open ceiling plan, polished concrete floors, glass office fronts, and a modern open kitchen with high-end finishes.
