The Garrett Companies, a Colorado-based multifamily real estate developer acquired a 12.6-acre plot of land at 8600 S. Valley Hwy in Englewood, CO for $15.14 mil. The buyer will use the land to develop a 317-unit apartment community and has recently started construction.
The project, Garrett Park Meadows, will consist of a club house with full amenities and six four-story residential buildings. The buildings will include a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The residents of this project will be able to enjoy both the adjacent county line rail station and all the amenities offered by Park Meadows Mall.
Located at the corner of I-25 and E-470, the land offers immediate access to the County Line Light Rail Station and Park Meadows Mall via the pedestrian footbridge. It’s adjacent location to the Denver Tech Center is likely to attract tenants that work in the immediate area.
Eric Roth, Martin Roth and Chris Cowan of CBRE represented the seller, Grace Chapel, in the transaction.
“This site represents one of the strongest locations along the front range and allows for true walkability to restaurants, shopping and public transit, which is rare for a suburban location” said CBRE’s Eric Roth.
