Alterra IOS has acquired an 18-acre industrial outdoor storage (IOS) assemblage in Tacoma, WA. The main structure is located at 1124 112th Street E, just east of Golden Given Rd and south of Hwy 512. The price was not disclosed.
The property features IOS land integrated with existing shop buildings, offering rare flexibility in configuration and low coverage—attributes highly sought after by IOS users across the Puget Sound region. The property’s strategic location, adjacent to the Port of Tacoma and with seamless highway access, anchors its position as a high-value asset in Tacoma’s expanding industrial landscape.
The property was sold by the Rhine Family in an off-market transaction. Mike Newton, Matt Murray, Dane Dahline and Travis Stanaway with Kidder Mathews represented Alterra IOS in the deal. Alterra IOS—part of Philadelphia-based Alterra Property Group—has retained Kidder Mathews to provide leasing services for the property.
