HexClad Cookware Inks Deals for Office and Warehouse Space in DTLA Arts District

7/23/25

HexClad, an innovative cookware company, has inked two leases within the Mateo Project, in Downtown Los Angeles's Arts District. The firm signed a long-term office sublease for 28.9k sf at 555 Mateo St, along with a lease agreement for a 9.8k sf warehouse facility directly south of the new office space. HexClad is significantly expanding its Los Angeles operations after experiencing exponential growth in sales along with recent investments from Fox Studios and HexClad brand ambassador and celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay.

The 192k sf creative office campus, owned by ASB Capital Management, is in the heart of the Arts District and features brick and steel buildings with high ceilings, operable garage style roll up doors, and rooftop patios. The campus is fully leased to notable tenants such as Spotify, USC Roski School, and Kong Studios.

Nathan Pellow and Nick Nybakken with Colliers represented HexClad in the office lease transaction; Scott Heaton, Connor McRae and Scott Stone, also with Colliers, repped HexClad in securing their new warehouse facility; and the firm’s Dana Barbera assisted in project management.

According to Pellow, the firm was drawn to the uniqueness of the space, along with access to the nearby amenities and available studio space in the immediate area to film content. HexClad considered and toured spaces in Hollywood and Culver City, but ultimately, they felt at home in the Arts District, as the location offered close proximity to their new warehouse facility.
