Gart Properties purchased Edwards Corner, a 48.4k sf, mixed-use neighborhood center located at 56 Edwards Village Blvd in the heart of Vail Valley, CO. Edwards Corner is home to nearly fifty local businesses, including notable tenants such as Hovey & Harrison, Drunken Goat, Cut Meat & Seafood and Il Mago.
The center, built in 2004, offers a mix of retail and executive office spaces, making it a key destination for both shopping and business activities in the area. Its location in downtown Edwards offers easy access to the surrounding Vail Valley region. The center's strategic position in the heart of the community makes it a convenient location for both residents and visitors.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jon Hendrickson and Aaron Johnson represented the seller, Edwards Corner, LLC, in the transaction.
"The sale of Edwards Corner magnified the irreplaceability of quality retail-driven properties," said Hendrickson. "Replacement and development costs are a significant topic in all markets, but the mountain and resort communities to an even larger extent. The seasonality has lessened, and the mountain consumer is extremely strong."
