Shadowbrook Gardens, a recently constructed 80-bed nursing facility in the Sacramento area city of Citrus Heights, was acquired by International Equity Partners in a $28.3 mil transaction. The property, located at 5915 Dewey Dr, at Stratton Ave, has not yet opened for business.
The 40k sf project originally broke ground in 2019. It sits on 3.7 acres roughly 15 miles northeast of downtown Sacramento. It was built by Rocklin-based Western Care Construction Company.
The 24-hour nursing facility will be used for the rehabilitation of patients discharged from hospitals in the area. It is expected to house and help heal patients dealing with traumatic injuries until such time as they can manage in their own homes.
The property was sold by Auburn Manor Holding Corp.
