A new two-story, 11.5k sf primary care facility in Costa Mesa was recently completed and just celebrated its grand opening. The project was developed by the Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds (THFF) for Share Ourselves, a leading Federally Qualified Health Center dedicated to providing compassionate care to those in need since 1970.
The colorful new facility features 12 medical exam rooms, six fully equipped dental chairs, two optometry chairs, and a dedicated office for behavioral health services. Patients will also benefit from an on-site pharmacy, while a care management team will help them navigate both health and social services. THFF financed and led the conversion of a vacant former medical office into a modern new facility, thoughtfully designed to enhance patients’ comfort and accessibility.
The Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds have delivered, or are developing, 43 healthcare facilities nationwide totaling $1 bil in investment for proven healthcare providers in communities with underserved patient populations. These facilities have been demonstrated to improve health outcomes while reducing healthcare disparities, lowering costs and improving patient satisfaction.
THFF acts as a full-service developer, capital provider, and strategic partner for some of the nation’s leading mission-driven healthcare providers. The Funds have delivered 34 facilities with nine more under development. Additional facilities are in the development pipeline. Build-to-suit facility solutions include primary care centers, PACE facilities (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly), outpatient community health centers, and behavioral health facilities.
