Casey Family Programs has agreed to a lease for 79.2k sf of space in downtown Seattle. The organization’s new space is at 800 Fifth, a 42-story, 940k sf tower in the heart of the city’s Central Business District.
The property, operated by EQ Office, is a LEED Platinum-rated building that was recently renovated with a redesigned entry, lobby and mezzanine lounge to inspire collaboration, spark creativity and build community. EQ Office is also adding a conference and event facility for tenants, which is expected to be delivered by the end of 2025.
Additional building amenities include a recently renovated outdoor plaza and garden area, a large fitness center with locker rooms and towel service, premium bike storage, a five-story subterranean garage, and quick-service retail. The property is also within walking distance to the Seattle Ferry Terminal and has access to plentiful dining, hospitality, retail, and business amenities in Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, and downtown Seattle.
CBRE’s Craig Kinzer, Steve Schwartz, and Sean Sussex represented Casey Family Programs, the nation’s largest operating foundation focused on safely reducing the need for foster care and improving the safety and well-being of children and their families. Established in 1966 by the founder of United Parcel Service, the foundation operates in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and with tribal nations across North America. Casey Family Programs is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
CBRE’s Scotta Ashcraft, Nick Carkonen, and Riley Shephard, also with CBRE, repped EQ Office. Terms of the lease were not given out.
