Sutter Health Leases Newly Renovated SIXSIXTY Building in Downtown Sacramento

4/24/25

Sutter Health has inked a full building medical office space lease for the newly transformed SIXSIXTY building in the heart of downtown Sacramento. The 120k sf building is owned by a joint venture of Revitate’s opportunity zone platform, RevOZ Capital, and Argosy Real Estate Partners.

Located at 660 J Street, SIXSIXTY is a four-story, mixed-use commercial building situated on one of the city’s most connected intersections. It is adjacent to Golden1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings, and an abundance of other vibrant retail, restaurant, and entertainment destinations in the central business district. In addition to the numerous surrounding amenities and entertainment venues, SIXSIXTY is a short walk to Light Rail and Amtrak and within minutes to multiple freeways and the Sacramento International Airport.

From 2021 through 2024, the ownership completed a major transformation on the low-rise that included a full interior and lobby renovation, and re-skinning of the exterior envelope with new floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows. SIXSIXTY also includes ample parking via direct elevator access from the on-site subterranean garage.

Sutter Health plans to use the building to serve as its Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex, a destination center of excellence scheduled to open in late 2027. The facility will become a beacon of clinical excellence and innovation, designed to address the region's growing demand for orthopedic specialty medicine where shortages currently exist.

The Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex will be an easily accessible, comprehensive “one-stop shop” for high-caliber orthopedics and sports medicine care, according to Sutter Health. Services will include Orthopedics, Sports medicine and concussion clinics, Physical therapy, Ambulatory surgery center, Diagnostic imaging, Sports psychology, and Nutrition support.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Ron Thomas, SIOR, Bruce Hohenhaus, SIOR and Kevin Goldthwaite represented ownership in the lease to Sutter Health. Cushman & Wakefield also provides Property Management services for SIXSIXTY.
