KB Homes acquired Bishop Ranch 7, a 276k sf office building in San Ramon, for $57.8 mil ($209/sf) in an all-cash deal. The three-story building is located at the corner of Camino Ramon and Executive Pkwy, within the Bishop Ranch office park.
KB plans to replace the building with a new residential development called Bartlett, slated to contain more than 100 homes. The site offers street frontage from 2527 through 2545 Camino Ramon. It is next to Summer Homes’ City Village residential development.
These latest housing developments are part of efforts to transform Bishop Ranch from an office project to a mixed-use campus that also includes residential, retail and hotel space. The campus is near the I-680/Bollinger Canyon interchange.
