The Mahoney Group Inks Lease for 35k sf of Corp HQ Space in Chandler, AZ

The Mahoney Group recently agreed to an expansion/relocation lease for 35.2k sf of office space in Chandler, AZ. The company, which will use the space as its new corporate HQ, signed the deal at Chandler Freeway Crossing, a 40-acre, Class A office park by Mark IV Capital at the intersection of the Loop 101 and Loop 202 freeways.

One of the nation’s oldest and largest independent insurance brokers, The Mahoney Group will locate into the 156.8k sf, Class A 2625 building, located at 2625 W. Geronimo Place, at the southwest corner of Geronimo Place and Ellis Road. The company is slated to occupy its new headquarters space in the first quarter of 2025.

In addition to immediate access to the Loop 101 and 202 freeways, the 2625 building offers on-site garage parking, a modern ground-floor common area and a highly amenitized rooftop deck featuring two covered patios, fire pits, barbeque areas and multi-purpose grass areas with unobstructed 360-degree views.

Mark Gustin, Jimmy Cornish and Emily Minnier of JLL represented Mark IV Capital in the lease negotiations. Adam Tolson of Lee & Associates repped The Mahoney Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Additional buildings at Chandler Freeway Crossing include 2600 W. Geronimo Place, a 55.1k sf, Class A building with 20.2k sf available for lease, and 2900 W. Geronimo Place, where JLL is marketing the entire 170k sf, three story building for lease. The 2900 building is fully furnished with 1,000 workstations. It also has a rooftop deck amenity area and first-floor amenities under development and expected to deliver in 2025.

With one-half mile of freeway frontage, tenants at Chandler Freeway Crossing benefit from freeway monument and building signage. The project is surrounded by more than 5 msf of retail and restaurant space, and is home to other tenants including Bashas, Cirrus Logic, Verizon and ASML.
