Virco Manufacturing has inked a 65-month lease renewal for a 559k sf facility in Torrance. The building, situated on over 23.5 acres at 2027 Harpers Way, east of Van Ness Ave and south of Del Amo Blvd, is owned by Prologis. Virco will maintain its L.A.-area headquarters at the property.
The concrete tilt-up building features 50k sf of office space, 750 parking spaces, 36 dock-high positions, three ground-level doors and up to 30’ clear height. The modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility ideally facilitates the quick and efficient shipment of Virco products.
California-based Virco is a leading manufacturer and supplier of furniture and equipment for K-12 schools. The company manufactures products to meet the highest industry green standards.
The lease involves the installation of solar panels to help with their energy consumption needs. Solar panels are planned to be installed at the property next year.
