Branded Bills inked a lease for 96.4k sf of headquarters space in Tempe, AZ. The firm is a rapidly expanding, homegrown Arizona company offering a range of hat and apparel products featuring a trademark, hand-forged leather patch.
The new lease, located at 360 S. Smith Rd, enables Branded Bills to relocate and triple the size of its headquarters, consolidating the company into a single location able to support its rapid 40% year-over-year growth. The new building will be home to 140 Branded Bills employees across administrative, sales, marketing, production and warehouse functions.
The new Branded Bills headquarters sits on 4.6 acres near McClintock Drive and Rio Salado Parkway, at the confluence of Loop 101 and Loop 202. It is minutes from Arizona State University and Sky Harbor International Airport, as well as I-10, US-60, State Route 87 and I-17. It is also within walking distance of Tempe Marketplace, a 1.3 million-square-foot retail destination with more than 100 shops, restaurants and entertainment options.
Constructed in 2021, the new Branded Bills headquarters features 30’ clear height, LED overhead lighting, ESFR sprinklers, high-end creative office finishes, four dock doors and five drive-in doors.
Branded Bills will relocate from 37k sf at the Broadway 101 Commerce Park in Mesa, Arizona. It is expected to occupy its new headquarters in early 2025. The company, founded in 2015 by Dave Dickert, Sam Coil, Josh Tabaj and Tim Welch, has grown from a start-up operating out of a local garage into an expansive apparel company with a custom order division, golf-specific wholesale offerings and a thriving online direct-to-consumer enterprise.
Keith Lammersen with JLL represented Branded Bills in the lease negotiations. Newmark’s Gary Cornish repped the landlord, an undisclosed local investor. Terms of the deal were not given out.
