On October 10, 2024, eight commercial real estate professionals will step into the boxing ring as part of the main event at this year’s NAIOP SoCal Night at the Fights black tie gala. Thanks to popular demand, it is the first time that the event has featured four unique industry bouts.
Each year, Night at the Fights is recognized as one of the most anticipated commercial real estate events of the year. For 2024 the theme is “007 – A Night of Elegance and Espionage.” The more than 1,000 expected attendees will experience an action-packed night that includes, in addition to the main event, a champagne tower, robotic bartenders, martinis (shaken not stirred), tequila tasting, jazz music, and a casino royale.
For 2024, the commercial real estate industry fighters include a lightweight heavyweight bout between Robin Bhalla, Retail Round Robin, and Eric Miller, ODIC; a middleweight bout between Richard Bernal, Fidelity National Title NCS, and Keifer Shaffer, Savills US; middleweight bout between Eric Chan, Langan, and Ray Young, CREIM; and a super heavyweight bout between Jeff Farano, Buchalter and Elijah Goldtrap, Graves Construction. The main event will also include one professional boxing match.
“Each year we seek ways to raise the bar because we want this to be a night to remember, for all our attendees and their guests. We appreciate the ongoing support of our event sponsors, especially our Ring Sponsor Link Logistics and Warm Up Sponsor Air Control Systems, who help make it a great night for the commercial real estate industry,” said Alison Ramsey, Chair, Night at the Fights, and client manager, commercial term lending with JP Morgan.
This year’s NAIOP SoCal’s Night at the Fights will also bring back its Exclusive VIP Silent Auction. Net proceeds from this year's auction items will benefit Building Block Foundation Fund as well as NAIOP SoCal’s local and statewide legislative affairs initiatives. The Auction will start one week before the event on October 3 and close at 10:00 pm at the event on October 10.
Building Block Foundation Fund is a philanthropic organization for the commercial real estate industry that brings together real estate professionals to give back in an organized and meaningful way for the long-term future of Orange County. BBFF funnels the goodwill of the local industry into a performance-based giving program that is sustainable, predictable and accountable.
NAIOP SoCal Night at the Fights will be held at the OC Fair & Event Center, Hangar Building in Costa Mesa beginning at 5:30 pm. For tickets and event information, go to https://www.naiopsocal.org/night-at-the-fights-2/
