Macy’s has inked a long-term lease for a new 272k sf, logistics/distribution facility in Lathrop, CA. The structure is located at 3400 W Yosemite at the Phelan Lathrop Gateway industrial park, roughly 10 miles south of Stockton.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jay Hagglund and Tyson Vallenari represented Macy’s in the transaction. The property is owned by Phelan Development.
“Macy’s new California Central Valley location provides the company with a state-of-the-art facility offering many benefits, including continued nearby accessibility to the customer base in the Bay Area Region, Northern California, and Central Valley. It is also in close proximity to both the UP and BNSF Intermodal Facilities, multiple regional international airports as well as multiple Ports located in the area,” said Executive Managing Director Tyson Vallenari. “And with immediate access to Interstate 5 and Highway 99, the property is also conveniently accessible to Los Angeles and the San Pedro Bay Port Complex, along with other major markets throughout the West Region.”
