Hundreds of commercial real estate professionals celebrated on the beach and under the stars at the Building Block Foundation Fund White Party, held August 23, at Newport Dunes in Newport Beach.
The White Party event is an annual fundraiser for Building Block. This year, thanks to the support of White Party Title Sponsor CapRock Partners, and many other CRE firms, the event raised close to $140k, bringing the total raised by Building Block since 2004 to over $3 mil for its designated charities.
Building Block Foundation Fund is a non-profit organization that brings together the commercial real estate industry to support charities focused on improving the lives of at-risk youth. Long time charity partners include: Project Access, HomeAid, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Everfree, The Joyful Child Foundation, KidWorks, Orangewood Children’s Foundation, and Hope Builders.
“Building Block's annual White Party is always a fantastic event, and it is inspiring to see real estate industry leaders support programs that improve the lives of children throughout Orange County. The Joyful Child Foundation is grateful for the support as well as the Building Block Fund’s example because when we work together, we can unite our communities to better protect and empower children,” said Erin D. Runnion, Founder/Executive Director, The Joyful Child Foundation.
