Toysmith has signed a new lease for a 159.1k sf, Class A industrial building that will serve as its new headquarters in Pacific (Tacoma), WA. The company is relocating from a nearby property to its new freestanding facility located at 541 W Valley Highway S—a building also known as Pacific 167 Logistics due to its visibility and accessibility from State Route 167.
The firm is a premium toy and gift manufacturer and distributor. Its brands and products are sold to toy retailers, education markets, museums, zoos, aquariums, national parks, attractions, theme parks, gift stores, specialty catalogs and internet retailers
Scott Alan, SIOR, and Patrick Mullin with Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant in the transaction.
“Toysmith’s new headquarters provides the company with a high-image Class A location offering quick access and tremendous visibility from SR-167, along with proximity to the Port of Tacoma, SEATAC International Airport and Port of Seattle. The Portland Metro market is also conveniently accessible within a few hours drive,” said Alan. “This facility also allows the company to strategically right-size its real estate footprint—including its office space requirement—as it adjusts its operational needs due to the pandemic.”
