Alex Kozakov and Patrick Wade, co-leaders of a retail investment property sales team in downtown Los Angeles, have been promoted to senior vice presidents with CBRE.
Kozakov and Wade joined forces in 2006 and have focused on the acquisition and disposition of retail properties throughout the Western U.S., including strip centers, urban retail storefronts and single-tenant net-leased assets. The duo, which joined CBRE in 2013, has already listed and sold more than $1 bil of retail investment properties.
The team is currently working on a number of significant deals. These include a shopping center in Ventura, a high-profile retail repositioning opportunity in Hollywood, a single-tenant retail sale in Sherman Oaks and a prominent retail center in Downtown Los Angeles.
Kozakov is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and had previously served on the LA Next Generation Committee for ICSC. He currently sits on the board for JBBBSLA and the foundation for Camp Bob Waldorf. He serves as a mentor to many junior brokers and is involved in several philanthropic organizations throughout Los Angeles. Wade is a member of the USC Trojan Real Estate Association, USC Marshall Partners, the ICSC, and has served as Sponsorship Committee Chair of Urban Land Institute - Young Leaders Group in LA.
