Google has purchased a single-story, 20.8k sf building in Mountain View from Drawbridge Realty for $14.9 mil, or $716/sf. The Class A office/R&D building is 100% leased to Google.
The property is located at 2637 Marine Way, less than one quarter of a mile from Google’s world headquarters. The property was originally built in 1968 and fully renovated in 2011 by Google.
Located directly off Hwy 101, the property has immediate access to the Bay Area's major transportation corridors including Interstate 280 and Highways 237, 82, 84 and 92. A Caltrain commuter rail station is also within four miles of the property providing service to San Francisco and Silicon Valley.
Steven Golubchik, Michael Leggett, and Ben Bullock of HFF represented San Francisco-based Drawbridge in the transaction. The company has a current portfolio of roughly 3 msf located predominately in the western U.S.
