Bristol Square, a 341-unit apartment complex in Dallas, traded hands. The terms of the sale were not released.
Built in 1987, the property is situated on nearly 10 acres at 1720 John West Rd, near major employers such as UPS, Eastfield College, Walmart and Sam’s Club. Bristol Square is composed of durable brick veneer and wood siding. The average unit size is 717 sf. At the time of the sale, the property was approximately 94 percent occupied.
Nick Fluellen, vice president investments, and Bard Hoover, senior associate, both in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, represented the seller, a California-based private owner. Zar Haro, associate vice president investments in the firm’s San Antonio office, and Mike Moffitt Jr, a senior associate in Austin, repped the buyer.
“Bristol Square is the best-in-class asset in the submarket,” says Hoover. “The property is in excellent physical condition and has consistently enjoyed low- to mid-90 percent occupancy over the past two years.”
