Hilo Mountain Ranch, a 13,130-acre property on the outskirts of Hilo, HI, known as the Big Island, on the slopes of Mauna Kea, sold for $11.25 mil.
Matt Davis, Terry Jackson, and Shannon Whitfield with Cushman & Wakefield, along with Steven Sofos of Sofos Realty Corporation, represented the seller in the transaction.
“Hilo Mountain Ranch is an idyllic property on the island of Hawaiʻi featuring private alluring landscape and scenery with multiple waterfalls, pools, and streams, along with spectacular ocean and mountain views,” commented Davis. “The property is also located within a few miles from the Pacific Ocean and coastal towns.”
According to Pacific Business News, Hilo Mountain Ranch is the 8th largest private land holding on the Big Island and 20th largest in the state of Hawaii. Much of the property is designated Forest Reserve and is zoned Conservation with the Resource (C/R) and Limited (C/L) subzone.
