Cousins Properties has awarded Transwestern Real Estate Services the office leasing assignment for BriarLake Plaza, a two-building, 835k sf office complex in Houston’s Westchase submarket. The two Class A assets are: the 502.4k sf One BriarLake Plaza at 2000 W. Sam Houston Parkway South; and the 333.1k sf Two BriarLake Plaza at 2050 W. Sam Houston Parkway South.
Currently 84.9% leased, BriarLake Plaza offers a state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms, two on-site food service options, a conference center for large and small meeting requirements, abundant greenspace and an outdoor fountain-filled lake. Ownership plans to add more amenities, further enhancing the campus and creating an energetic experience for work teams returning to the office.
BriarLake Plaza is located at a prime ingress and egress one exit south of Interstate 10 at the Briar Forest exit. The east-west access on Briar Forest Dr is convenient to key neighborhoods populated by decision makers as well as a highly skilled workforce. The project is directly connected via walkway to Briar Lake Village, which features Palazzo’s, Moderna Tacos + Tex Mex, Kolache Factory, Subway, Tiff’s Treats and Green Lane Co., as well as a fitness studio, nail salon and bank.
