Colorado Retail Buy is Golden

9/22/15

Interplaza West Shopping Center, a Class A, 31.7k sf retail center in Golden, CO, was acquired by an investor for $8.65 mil, or about $273/sf. The property, located at 17120-17132 West Colfax Ave, south of 6th Ave and east of Hwy 470, is 100% occupied by tenants including Petco, Golfsmith and Great Clips.

The buyer, Jae M. Lee, was represented by BRC Advisors Inc. Jeff Hallberg of Lee & Associates Denver, repped the seller, Golden Oaks Center LLC and Interplaza Partners LLC.

“The buyer, who plans to hold the property as an investment, liked the property because of the tenants in the center and the location of the property. This property is part of one of the busiest power centers in the region, which benefits from the over 173,900 daily traffic count on these surrounding arterials, as well as the more than 1 msf of office and industrial space within a two-mile radius,” said Hallberg, who just recently closed on a 13.5k sf multi-tenant shopping center also located in Golden.
