Mischer Investments LP has awarded Transwestern the leasing assignment for Cypress Creek Lakes, a 29k sf medical and office development in Cypress, just northwest of Houston. Construction will get started on the project, located at 19414 Cypress N. Houston Rd, when the project is 50 percent preleased.
The two-story medical office project will be at the southeast corner of Fry Rd and Cypress N. Houston Rd, directly across from the main entrance to the Bridgeland master-planned community. The property will feature covered parking, a covered patient drop-off and a modern two-story lobby with abundant natural light. In addition to this project, Mischer developed the existing retail center just north of the site and the surrounding Cypress Creek Lakes residential subdivision.
Transwestern medical leasing associate Ashley Cassel will lease the property on behalf of Mischer Investments, the developer and owner.
The predominantly residential area within a five-mile radius of the development experienced nearly a 200 percent growth in population between 2002 and 2013. In addition, residential development continues nearby in the Bridgeland, Canyon Lakes West, Town Lake and Cypress Creek Lakes communities.
