A 171k sf flex/office building 100 percent leased by Lockheed Martin Corp in Boulder, CO was acquired by a Texas-based partnership. The buyer holds other, similar defense contractor-leased properties in its portfolio. The terms of the sale were not released.
The Lockheed Martin campus is located at 6304 Spine Rd in Boulder. It is a crucial location for Lockheed Martin’s Space Based Infrared System contract with the U.S. Defense Department. Lockheed Martin Corp. has occupied the location for nearly 20 years.
Brandon Kramer, associate, and Barry Higgins, first vice president investments, both in Marcus & Millichap’s Denver office, represented the buyer and the seller, a Detroit-based pension fund.
