Silver Peak and Cameron Real Estate have awarded the property management duties for 1001 McKinney in Houston to Hines. The tower is a 23-story building located on the corner of McKinney and Main in the heart of the city’s downtown. Hines’ efforts for the building will be focused on repositioning the asset and creating significant value for ownership.
The 375.4k sf office building has achieved Gold certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED® for Existing Buildings (EB) Rating System and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Formerly known as the City National Bank Building, the landmark Art Deco building was constructed in 1947 and was designed by Alfred C. Finn.
1001 McKinney is79 percent leased to a prestigious tenant roster including: Conley Rose; Kelley Kronenburg; McGlinchy Stafford; Shannon Martin Finkelstein Alvarado; and Thorpe Petroleum. Hines' Nicole Boudreau will serve as the on-site property manager.
