In recent deal news from Phoenix, Armor Designs, an international developer of state-of-the-art armor technologies and products, agreed to a five-year, $2.7 mil lease for a 71.3k sf ($0.63/sf/mo) industrial facility at 4645 South 35th St, near the Maricopa (10) Fwy. Pete Klees of Grubb and Ellis represented the landlord, PCCP Bar I LLC.
Commenting on the deal, Rich Sica of DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services, pointed out, "We were able to locate a building in close proximity to its former facility and large enough to meet its expansion efforts." Sica represented the tenant in the deal. Pete Klees of Grubb and Ellis repped the landlord, PCCP Bar I LLC.
In a deal from a month or so ago in the town of Gilbert, about 22 miles east of Phoenix, ClubCorp, a Dallas-based golf management company, purchased Seville Golf & County Club, an 18-hole championship golf club. The price was not disclosed.
Ken Arimitsu and Eric Lambiase of Grubb & Ellis’ Golf Properties Group in Newport Beach and Mark Stratz of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial in Phoenix represented both the buyer and the seller, Shea Homes, in the transaction.
