Rexford Industrial Realty Enjoys Barefoot Dreams in Thousand Oaks

3/03/20

Barefoot Dreams, a lifestyle brand specializing in home, baby, youth, adult apparel and pet products exclusively licensed with The Walt Disney Co, has signed a lease for 50.7k sf of space at Conejo Spectrum in Thousand Oaks.

Located at 2595 Conejo Spectrum St, the freestanding building is part of the 29-acre Conejo Spectrum Business Park, owned by Rexford Industrial Realty. The Class A industrial building is brand new and is now occupied for the first time since construction was completed. The LEED-certified building features 28' clear height, five (5) dock high doors and ESFR Sprinklers.

Bennett Robinson of CBRE represented Barefoot Dreams, who will use the space for warehousing and storage. Rexford was repped by Patrick DuRoss, John DeGrinis and Jeff Abraham of Newmark Knight Frank.

Conejo Spectrum is the largest-scale new industrial development in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura County in more than two decades. The business park is located less than one mile from SR 101, a major California freeway that connects Thousand Oaks to the Greater Los Angeles area.

“This was an ideal expansion scenario for Barefoot Dreams, as they were already occupying the neighboring building,” said Robinson. “It is extremely rare to be able to move into a brand-new, Class A industrial building in this area.”

The Greater Los Angeles industrial sector has been marked by solid fundamentals of limited supply and strong demand, according to CBRE research. Tenants continue to lease space in the face of ever higher rental rates and increasing operating expenses, which has caused investment volumes in the sector to continue to expand.
