A private investor purchased a 52k sf building in Oxnard out of foreclosure with plans to refurbish it and operate it as an assisted living facility. The building is located at 1020 Bismark Way, south of Channel Islands Blvd and west of Rose Ave.
The buyer plans to invest approximately $800k to renovate the property, which had previously been operated as an assisted living facility but has since closed down. The buyer was self-represented. John Battle, a principal of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura Inc, represented the seller, an affiliate of Bank of America, in the transaction.
