Investors Pay $5.5 Mil for Mixed-Use Property in Oceanside

12/14/18

A retail/residential mixed-use property in Oceanside sold for $5.475 mil. The asset is located at 502-508 Sportfisher Drive and 510 N Coast Hwy, about midway between I-5 and the ocean.

The property consists of 16 residential apartments and four fully-occupied retail units. Retail tenants include Jitters Coffee Pub, Kindred Journeys, Stage & Screen FX makeup artist materials and NuPacifica Realty.

Mark McEwen, Joe Brady and Luke Holler of Colliers International San Diego Region represented the buyers, McEwen Otay, LLC/MP McEwen I, LLC and MPK NC, LLC. Pat Swanson of Colliers International’s Irvine office repped the seller, the James and Linda Rich Trust.

“Downtown Oceanside has become a vibrant retail and restaurant destination,” said Brady, Senior Associate at Colliers International. “As Oceanside’s culinary, hospitality, and shopping scene grows, there will be continued activity from investors looking for well-located properties in the neighborhood.”
