JELD-WEN has agreed to a long term lease extension for 194.7k sf at the North County Corporate Center in Vista. The Charlotte, NC-headquartered company - one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers - is fully leasing two buildings within the multi-building industrial center.
JELD-WEN fully occupies the two buildings, located at 2760 and 2765 Progress St, southwest of Hwy 78. The company has been a longstanding tenant for 15 years at North County Corporate Center, which is owned by Barings Real Estate Advisors.
Constructed in 1999, North County Corporate Center is a five-building, 493.9k sf industrial park situated on 26 acres and located at 990 and 995 Joshua Way, and 2750, 2760 and 2765 Progress St. The project features 26’ ceiling clear height, dock-high and grade-level doors, office space, generous parking, and is located just one mile from the California State Route 78 freeway corridor. It is currently 100% leased.
Aric Starck and Dennis Visser of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord in the deal. Darren Morgan, also with C&W, repped the tenant. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled that JELD-WEN, a great and respected tenant of the project, has re-committed to continuing its local manufacturing, design, production, and distribution operation at the North County Corporate Center here in San Diego,” said Mr. Starck.
“This high grade, fully leased property represents an institutional quality industrial park set in one of the most desirable and fast-growing industrial markets in the region, North County,” noted Starck. “Its accessibility and convenience in the northern region has made it an ideal corporate headquarters and or distribution location for companies conducting business in San Diego as well as surrounding markets.”
