Trademark Construction Spends $2.8 Mil on Adjacent Industrial Suites in Rancho Bernardo

10/30/15

Two adjacent industrial suites totaling 12.6k sf were purchased by Trademark Construction Co for $2.79 mil ($221/sf). The properties are located at 15916 and 15920 Bernardo Center Drive, within the Rancho Pacifica Business Center in Rancho Bernardo.

Trademark, an Escondido-based general contractor, will occupy 15916 for corporate office space. The company is in discussions with a tenant for the remaining 15920 portion.

David Harper of Colliers International represented the buyer and seller, AHNPAIK LLC, in the transaction. Harper has sold this property three times since 1997.

“Rancho Bernardo’s Industrial/R&D market is at the lowest vacancy that we have seen in the past 15 years,” said Harper, Senior Vice President at Colliers International, “With little available product for sale or lease in the I-15 corridor, opportunities to purchase properties like 15916 and 15920 Bernardo Center Drive have become extremely rare.”
