Arden Realty recently signed three leases totaling over 40k sf at its Chancellor Park property, a 199.6k sf medical office park located on Executive Drive in the UTC submarket of San Diego. Eric Vann and Brian Starck of Cassidy Turley of San Diego represented Arden, a GE Capital Real Estate company, in all three transactions.
The largest of the transactions involved a lease by the Regents of the University of California for 34.3k sf of medical office space at 4520 and 4510 Executive Drive. Additionally, La Jolla Cosmetics and Dentistry signed a 10.5-year lease for 2.2k sf of space at 4510 Executive Drive, and Dr. Motwani, dba The Motwani Lasik Institute, an eye surgery center, signed a five-year lease renewal for 4.1k sf at 4520 Executive Drive. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
“Chancellor Park is seeing a flurry of health care related leasing activity due the quality of its medical and office space and Arden Realty’s reputation for providing attentive and effective management,” said Vann, who along with Mr. Starck handles leasing efforts for the campus. “The UTC location is convenient for medical practioners and their patients, with great freeway access and proximity to several major regional medical centers.”
In the transactions, The Regents of the University of California was represented by Chris Ross and Misty Moore of Jones Lang LaSalle. La Jolla Cosmetics and Dentistry was represented by Sean McNulty of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Dr. Motwani was represented by Steve Wolf, also with Newmark Grubb Knight.
