Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company has signed a $1.7 mil, 20-year ground lease for a 16.5k sf parcel at 2780 Garnet Ave at the intersection of Mission Bay Dr in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. Enterprise will start constructing its own site improvements with an anticipated completion date of September 2012.
Marc Brutten, chairman and founder of Westcore Properties, purchased the property from the Hildebrand Trust in May 2011. According to Brutten, “This is a highly visible property offering tremendous brand awareness opportunity. Enterprise is a leader in the rental car industry and we are very pleased to have such a strong tenant commit to this location.”
In the transaction, Mike Moser of CBRE represented both Westcore Properties and Enterprise-Rent-A-Car in the transaction.
