Sunrise Bank of San Diego took 7.9k sf of Class A office space in San Diego’s University Town Center area, after signing a 10-year, $4.16 mil ($4.39/sf/mo) lease at Sunroad Corporate Center. The building is located at 4445 Eastgate Mall, north of La Jolla Village Dr and east of Genesee Ave. Sunroad Corporate Centre is a three-building, 306k sf office park that includes underground parking, on-site property management, a coffee bar and a fitness facility which includes showers and lockers.
The tenant was represented by Michael Labelle and Christina Skwat of Studley Inc, while Eric Vann and Mark Wayne of Cushman & Wakefield repped the property owner, Sunroad Enterprises.
In a recent San Diego-area office expansion a few miles to the south, the firm of Sheffler and Martin inked a 68-month, $1.2 mil deal for 8.9k sf ($1.98/sf/mo) of space at 4375 Jutland Dr, east of the I-5 and south of the 52 Fwy. The property is owned by Ralph and Linda Sue Bodine, who were repped in the deal by Jack Kruger of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial. Tim Rikkers of Siegel-Gallagher brokered the lease for the tenant.
