Four restaurants have inked new leases at The Center at Rancho Niguel, a 360k sf, community shopping center located at Crown Valley Pkwy and Greenfield Dr in Laguna Niguel. The restaurants are Calo Kitchen + Tequila, Snooze Eatery, Muse Sushi and Earth Bowl Superfoods.
The new leases account for 10.9k sf of new dining space at the center. Major tenants currently within the center include Ralphs Fresh Fare, Life Time, Nordstrom Rack, BevMo!, Ethan Allen, Regency Theatres Directors Cut Cinema and WR Kitchen & Bar, among others.
Terrison Quinn and Casey Mahony with SRS Real Estate Partners represented the landlord, Buie Stoddard Group, in the transactions. Details on these latest tenant signings include:
• Calo Kitchen + Tequila was created by the Heredia family with a menu inspired by three generations of real family cooking. This site represents their second location featuring upscale Mexican food, a high-end Tequila Bar and large patio. Calo will occupy 3.1k sf of space, in a 10-year lease, opening fall 2020.
• Snooze, an AM Eatery, serves breakfast and lunch seven days a week in a contemporary setting with full bar and patio. The 3.8k sf restaurant, with a 10-year lease, will open spring 2021.
• Muse Sushi – siblings and business partners Obi and Kat Chaem, from Thailand, opened their first business in San Clemente and have a cult following in the San Clemente area. The new 2.8k sf space with a 10-year lease marks their second location. Opening is set for fall 2020.
• Earth Bowl Superfoods, with existing locations in Lake Forest and Fullerton, opened its third store at Rancho Niguel in 1.2k sf of space on a five-year lease. They occupy a space previously occupied by Golden Spoon.
According to Quinn, Calo and Snooze are occupying a former TGI Fridays building that the landlord is demising and adapting for the two new tenants.
