GF Capital purchased a 20.7k sf office building in Irvine for $6 mil, or $290/sf. The property, located at 17731 Mitchell North, was sold by Swinerton Builders.
17731 Mitchell North was developed in 1983 and renovated in 2013. It is located in the heart of the Irvine Business Complex, home to over 1,200 businesses and immediately proximate to Highway 55, I-405, and John Wayne Airport. The building is currently 100% occupied by Swinerton Builders.
GF Capital intends to relocate its business to the building alongside with its other affiliated businesses including Far West Industries, a Southern California homebuilding company and Far West Technologies, LLC, a technology-based company which offers a host of network services to its clients both in terms of hardware, design and support.
Scott Wetzel with JLL represented Swinerton Builders in the transaction. Scott Lissoy of Far West Industries repped GF Capital. According to Lissoy, GF Capital was looking for one building where it could house all of its businesses while providing room for future expansion.
