The 31.5-acre master-planned Village at Irvine Spectrum, developed by The Irvine Company Apartment Communities (IAC) and designed by MVE & Partners, was awarded a prestigious Pillars of the Industry Award at The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Awards Gala, held on April 2nd in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The development was recognized for “Best Mixed-Use Site Plan” and was also selected as a finalist in the “Best Rental Apartment Community” category.
The Washington, D.C.-based NAHB presents the Pillars of the Industry Awards annually to recognize the best in multi-unit residential design, development, marketing and operations. The Pillars are widely viewed as the most esteemed national awards in the multifamily industry.
The Village at Irvine Spectrum is but the latest collaboration between IAC and MVE, a partnership that has resulted in more than 45 industry awards for acclaimed projects such as The Colony at Fashion Island in Newport Beach and Villa Siena in Irvine.
This award marks the ninth Pillars of the Industry award won by MVE & Partners since 2001. In addition to The Village at Irvine Spectrum, another successful MVE project, The Plaza Irvine, was selected as a finalist this year in the “Best High-Rise Condominium Community” category. MVE & Partners is a national architecture, planning and interiors firm with a portfolio spanning more than 30 years, covering residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, transit, interior and planning solutions.
