Worldwide Material Handling (WWMH) recently closed on the $21.5 mil acquisition of a newly built, 135.3k sf ($159/sf) Class A industrial facility in San Bernardino. The building, located at 549 E Central, was developed and sold by Hillwood Investment Properties, a Perot Company.
Built in 2021, Worldwide Material Handling’s new San Bernardino facility is located within Hillwood’s AllianceCalifornia, a 2,000-acre trade and logistics center positioned in one of the top industrial markets in the nation. Located at the corner of Central Ave and Valley View Ave, the project features great access to air, rail and interstate highways. The property includes 32-foot clear height, ESFR sprinklers, skylights, 28 dock doors, two grade doors, and ample auto and trailer parking.
Tim Pimentel, SIOR, Chuck Belden, Brice Larson and Kyle Kehner with Cushman & Wakefield’s local Inland Empire office in Ontario represented the WWMH, a pioneer in wire mesh products for pallet racks. Bill Heim and Alex Heim with Lee & Associates represented the seller in the deal.
