A six-acre site at Desert Oasis Plaza in Victorville was acquired by CarMax Auto Superstores California LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Desert Oasis Plaza, located at the southeast corner of Roy Rogers and Civic Drive, is part of The Desert Plazas, a three-phased, 800k sf retail development, anchored by the Home Depot and WinCo Foods. The development of Desert Oasis Plaza is almost complete – after the sale to CarMax only two pads remain.
CarMax will adjoin The Auto Park at Valley Center’s northern end along with Buick GMC, Valley Hi Nissan, Honda, and Victorville Motors RAM Truck Center. The site provides excellent visibility to motorists from the 15 Fwy and surrounding residents. Many national fast-food chains, including Papa John's, Panda Express, In-N-Out Burger, Krispy Kreme, and Starbucks, are located within walking distance, making it the ideal location for CarMax’s Auto Superstore.
Vicki Donkin with NAI Capital’s Retail Services Group represented the seller in the transaction. CBRE repped the buyer.
