Landmark Global has signed a five-year, $6.5 mil lease for 125.4k sf ($0.86/sf/mo) of industrial space in La Mirada. The property, located at 14407 Alondra Blvd, is owned by Link Logistics Real Estate.
Landmark will occupy the front portion of a larger concrete tilt-up industrial building that features 19 dock-high positions, 21’ clear height, almost 11k sf of office space and functional truck court.
Landmark Global is the international division of bpost, Belgium’s national postal service, which handles more than 3.9 billion items per year and delivers to more than five million addresses every day. For more than a decade, since bpost’s acquisition, Landmark Global has enabled its customers to expand globally. Its business has grown from basic international mail and parcel delivery to full-service, end-to-end solutions. This includes proprietary technology and trade consulting which provide Landmark clients the capability to sell to millions of customers worldwide.
Tyler Rollema and Matt Stringfellow, SIOR, with The Klabin Company represented Landmark Global in the deal. Link Logistics was repped by Cameron Driscoll and Luke McDaniel of JLL.
“Due to extremely low vacancy in the South Bay, many companies are looking to the Mid-Counties submarket as a viable alternative,” said Rollema. “Compared to the South Bay, lease rates can be secured at a slight discount for what remain functional and well-located buildings. For companies that don’t necessarily need to be close to the ports, it makes complete sense to be located in a place like La Mirada, which provides quick access to several major freeways and remains central to LA’s large population base.”
