A Los Angeles-based private investor bought a 41.3k sf, fully leased office building in Camarillo for $9.9 mil ($240/sf) as part of a 1031 exchange. Approximately 85% of the property is leased by a government-backed tenant.
Located at 711 E. Daily Drive, the building was originally constructed in 1983 and renovated in 2001. The three-story building was 100% leased at the time of sale. The property is part of Camarillo Business Center and sits adjacent to U.S. Route 101, a major freeway that connects Camarillo to the rest of Southern California.
Mark Shaffer, Gary Stache, Gerard Poutier, Anthony DeLorenzo, Doug Mack and Bryan Johnson with CBRE represented the seller, a local private investor, in the transaction.
