Advertising agency Quantasy signed a five-year lease for 13.5k sf of space in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles, expanding its footprint in the burgeoning area. The lease value was not disclosed.
The property, located at 312 South Alameda St, is a former warehouse that was completely converted into a stand-alone office property surrounded by the neighborhood’s eclectic mix of restaurants and other amenities. Other tenants at the property, which is now 100% occupied, include Lupetti Pizzeria and cocktail bar In Sheep’s Clothing.
CBRE’s Mark Landver represented the tenant. An outside broker represented the landlord, Arts District Development LLC.
The Arts District’s identity as a tech and creative hub has been further cemented by the addition of such companies as TubeScience, J. Stone Marketing Group, and BeSocial to the elite list of tenants that already include Warner Music Group, Honey Science, and Spotify. Ubtech Robotics is leasing space in the area, as well. With more residential projects on the horizon and a growing retail and office scene, the Arts District is expected to further expand into a young, live-work-play destination, according to CBRE research.
