The AIDS Healthcare Foundation purchased a 13.3k sf office building in San Diego’s Hillcrest neighbourhood for $ 4.8 mil ($361/sf). The two-story, freestanding building is located at 3850 Fifth Ave, south of Washington St and west of Hwy 163.
The building is close to downtown, near many walkable amenities, and offers on-site parking. The buyer plans to transform the property into a retail thrift store on the ground floor with a medical clinic above.
Marc Posthumus of Colliers International San Diego Region represented the seller, LuxView Properties, headed by principals Tim Barzal and Louis Scotti.
