Carlsbad Retail Building Trades for $552/sf


A 6.7k sf, multi-tenant retail building in Carlsbad sold for $3.7 mil, or $552/sf. The property, located at 457 Carlsbad Village Dr, midway between the ocean and I-5, was purchased by Equity Three Properties LLC, a subsidiary of Viewpoint Equities.

At the time of sale, the single-story property was fully occupied by five tenants, including Blues & Shoes, The Style Lounge, Popular Nails, Ragz Revolution and Pacific Coast Printing.

Amy McNamara and Joe Brady of Colliers International San Diego Region represented the buyer and the seller, Ryburn Building LLC, in the deal.

“This sale was a rare opportunity to acquire a prime retail building in the heart of the Carlsbad Village that has been under private family ownership for decades,” said McNamara. “Viewpoint Equities will be able to capitalize on the strong growth of the Carlsbad Village with the potential to redevelop the site in the future.”
