An owner-user has acquired a 12.3k sf, two-story industrial/flex building in Poway for about $2.5 mil ($203/sf). The private buyer, which will utilize the facility for their parts machining business, purchased the property from the Rice and Hartman Family Trusts.
The building is located at 12260 Crosthwaite Cir, north of Scripps Poway Pkwy and east of Community Rd. The high-image, freestanding building was formerly occupied by Green Flash Brewing Co, which had operated a brewery and tasting room.
Jeffrey Sallen and Glenn Arnold of Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego office represented the seller. John Shelton, also of the firm’s San Diego office, repped the buyer.
Sallen said, “Utilizing the Cushman & Wakefield platform, close interoffice communication amongst those of us involved in the sale helped lead to early discussions about the property, and that information was presented timely to the buyer for their consideration.” He added,
“Competition remains fierce for smaller, quality industrial product—we received multiple offers from a variety of parties wanting to purchase,” Shelton commented about the deal.
