Lief Organics Leases 112k sf Valencia Facility

Lief Organics, a nutritional supplement manufacturing company, leased a 112k sf, newly renovated facility in Valencia, for their corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution center. Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

The property, located at 28903 Avenue Paine, features a two-story lobby, 19k sf of office space, and a modern warehouse facility with 30’ clear height and 18 dock doors. Lief Organics will move into the new state-of-the-art space over the next 6 months.

CBRE’s Craig Peters represented the landlord, Rexford Industrial. CBRE’s Sam Glendon represented Lief Organics. Lief Organics is rapidly expanding and has already grown out of their 47k sf facility nearby, which it acquired about a year ago.

“This move will allow Lief Organics to further expand their business within a larger, state-of-the-art facility,” said Peters. “This was a great opportunity for Lief. It’s easily accessible by all the major population centers that have contributed to record levels of demand.”

The building, formerly occupied by biopharmaceutical company MannKind Corp, is a world-class facility. The space will enable Lief Organics to gain increased efficiency through a state-of-the art facility, while giving them room to grow in the foreseeable future.

The Santa Clarita Valley is a thriving center for high-paying industry clusters such as advanced manufacturing, medical devices, aerospace and defense, information technology, and digital media and entertainment. The area is an established commercial market with more than 25 msf of industrial and office properties, according to CBRE research.
